I do agree with the vietnamese law forbiding lipsync and playback.
Because I do think that lip-synching is LIE. How many people don’t even know those singers are LYING to them??
I’m afraid. Every single person I met did not know. When I tell people “you see there, it’s the sound of the CD, this singer is lying”. Many people can’t even believe it, it’s such a deceive.
I think it’s way cool to impose honesty! If it’s lipsync, just say it, display it on screen (“THIS IS NOT LIVE”).
There is the same problem in all western countries including Europe.. Lipsync in western is such a culture, it tragic. I don’t know much of Asia.. just Japan and Vietnam, but there, it’s not usual and you can feel much more emotion by listening real singing combined with image that fits the sound instead of someone acting with a CD player behind.

I do agree with comments about lip-synching during live performance is not a good thing. That’s one of many reasons that I don’t buy or watch PBN anymore. LOL, may be it’s only good for multiple language DVD, when I’m sick and tired of the Viet’s lyric. On the other hand, I don’t agree with the way the VN government impose on what artists can do. They have more urgent things to do than that!. Let the audience decide.
Second, the chose of the F* words from Sir Elton John is kind of heavy.
Third, the media as you can tell, are bunch of people who talks a lot but they don’t say anything. Nothing has been said so far that base on a fact or at least based on some intelligent source.

I suffer most from living in Vietnam. I respect art and talent. I hate media. They are NOTHING. Just hope My Tam can survive from those ta^`m thu+o+`ng things. One credit for Donny. I totally agree with you on this article.
