Nature’s Inspiration

Visualgui.com is restyling once again. Obviously, there are bugs to kill, especially with these beautiful flowers, but I am not going to sweat them. Holla if ya feel me.

  1. Honestly, it eases off my eyes. Keep staring the previous adorable white page of yours for long time…then who knows! I have to borrow the heavy farsighted eyeglasses of “No’ng Dda^`u”, mother Teresa Thao Tran…hahahah. Where are you, Thao Tran? Come back here…I might have the special medicine formula that I mixed and produced… just for you. *sigh*

  2. This one is good. Simple and elegant. Not to say that the technical details has been carefully taking care of. Try to change the Text size to see that this site has “Total control”. I like the contrast between the softness of the flower and the strong of the word.
Just out of curiosity, picture of the flower is sharp but the world visualgui is a little blur.

  3. Yes, Donny. The flower does not look smooth and sweet. I think your “feathering” skill is not so good. Are you using Photoshop? Have you ever watch Total Training Photoshop 7 (I don’t know exactly the author name, you can google). I recommend you use blending with layers instead…

  4. I am back. Did you check the Web page in IE. I think there is a bug. If you’d like to see the screenshot, just let me know. It’s working fine with Mozilla.

  6. Trung, I get tired of staring at the white pages.

SV, thanks for the compliment. Yes, the text does look distorted. I chose a different font with the “g” a bit more fancy.

SadValley, thanks for your suggestion. This is what happen when you design on a high resolutions and users have low res monitor. I also realized the bug on IE 5.2 and below since they don’t support negative margins.

    BT, cam on chi.

  12. Trung, 4 more years of darkness ahead of us.

  13. Hold the concerns about the darkness, the war, etc.. for a moment. Let go out to celebrate and enjoy life. If something needs to be purchase, needs to be said, needs to be done; do it now! Do them before this week come to an end.
Why? Because it’s not going to be possible to do that in the next .. 4 years!
    :-))

  14. SV, you’re way too funny. Good idea though. I was hoping for a change but it didn’t happened so let’s just enjoy what we have left and pray for tomorrow. Actually, pray God to bless Bush some wisdom to lead this country. So when we needed him the most, he would know what to do instead of sat there for several minutes staring at the book upside down while the first tower went down.

  16. “4 more years of darkness ahead of us…and 4 more generations sadness also ahead of us”.Just look at the Viet Nam War…how many generations suffered from this wound.Still sad after many years….

  17. Dear Hoang,

It won’t be sad if you and I choose not to. I strongly believe our generation will make a significantly change for a better future to our people and our country if we take controls in our own hands and fight for what we believe in. And absolutely, we can not let our father’s generations [the South Republic of Vietnam] interfere us. Vietnam country is still there! We don’t lose it to the foreigners. It still governs by the Vietnamese with a different system. What we can do is move on [we can not be responsible [grieves] for what we didn’t cause] and contribute to our people, our country in many aspects, we dont have to agree necessarily with the Vietnamese government operating right now. But we can do what we can! Thats to enhance our own life and our children. We cant not grieve for our fathers generation foreverThe future of Vietnamese people is us and it happens now.

    Love to all overseas Vietnamese,

    Trung

  18. Hi Trung,
I am touch by both of your comments on those topics concerning our overseas Vietnamese community and Viet Nam in general.I feels every things you you had said…I wishes they listen to new generation voices of frustration confusion and most often angry of our community for lack of support or guiding a new generations.
Since the lost of South VNam After 30 years what’d they learned from their mistates …(We’ve a mistates…never!!we’re a heroes, smarts and very very educated people unlike those animals ,stupid communist Vietnamese…) I believe take two to tango..If they so dedicated to protected their people and their land with the strongest country (America) behind us…how could we lost that war..
They may be fools us when we’re a kids…but don’t foget that we all adults now .We can judged things from what we see around us as afull picture.
You said ” I strongly believe our generation will make a significantly change for a better future to our people and our country if we take controls in our own hands and fight for what we believe in ” you are absolutely right on Mr.Trung.
As a lost generation in America I do thinks we should build a strong and healthy and supportive overseas Vietnamese community wherever we lived.
Defenetely,We should learn how to love our people, our country and rebuilded our Community likes a Jewish people did around the world.(They are the good examble to all of us overseas Vietnamese).Focused your energy to help us to build safer home in where we are live,NOT Viet Nam.
Proud and happy to be a Vietnamese-canadiane.
    Hoang
