		<description>I would suggest really good addition to your Ashley&#039;s books would be &quot;Good Vibration: a history of record production&quot; by Mark Cunningham, Brian Eno and Alan Parson.

That book will give you a new perspective about how music was made back in the day and today.  Especially it has a real cool chapter about jazz production...you will be surprise.
