eDataRack Sucks

eDatarack is an evil web-hosting provider. Please stay away from them if you are looking for reliable host and responsible customer service. And if you are currently with them, my suggestion is to get out now, or else your site will end up like iLoveNgocLan.com, which was removed from their servers without a notice even though our contract isn’t expired until May 2006. I won’t even bother to ask them for the refund because they haven’t answered my email for two days.

  1. Wow, there prices are really cheap.
Well Donny if you in need of a new host check out my current host (networkredux.net) they’re pretty good and reliable host, and their prices are also very reasonable. I’ve been with them for almost a year now and I’m planning to renew my account this March.

  2. I have moved iLoveNgocLan.com to a new host, which is the same host for visualgui.com. I have been with them for two years and they have been good. Let’s keep my fingers crossed.

  3. Well! If it too good to be true, it is.
Let hope that iLoveNgocLan.com will be safe for now. You’ve done a super job for the iLoveNgocLan.com website. Thanks-YOU for doing just that. I’m sure that in the digital world, we will loose our irreplaceable data from time to time. But, there’s always be tomorrow!
Cheers & “Cung Chuc Tan Xuan” to everyone!

  4. Anh SV, thanks for your kind words. I hope visitors understand the situation.

I finally get a reply from the Billing Department and they said, “Your site has been removed from our server.” Like I didn’t know that already.

  5. I have edatarack and yeah, they never write back…it’s a mess. But they did just upgrade their servers. I find my site down more than I’d like though. Sorry you had so much trouble, D. : (

  6. I too had edatarack.net I had 3 domains, which all went down with all their server “upgrades” they wont respond to my emails asking for a credit, or even to cancel my account. I switched everything to my new host http://www.royalthosting.com which is great! I stopped my payment to edatarack on my credit card and reversed it which finally made them call me :)…. Got their attention! HA HA

  7. After another server crash, they messed up with the control panel log ons. After fighting with the help desk, I e mailed teir billing dept and got this response – “Done. The server was not rebuilt is 5-days. It was rebuilt in less
than 24-hours from the time of the crash. If it took you 5-days to
figure that out then I am sorry. Furthermore, An announcement was
posted as soon as the server went off-line. As soon as the problem
and fix were diagnosed, another updated announcement was posted at
    2:00 PM on 9/15/2006.”

Shocking – now they seem to has cut off my account, and my sites are still down.
