Tuan Ngoc’s been Donny’s fave, and S’ too. But there is a big BUT. He’s been lax in his preparations and his heart doesn’t seem to be in it anymore, especially since his concerts in VN. Singing since 7 for a living, he seems tired now. Imagine Tony Bennett having to eke out a living catering to sleazy producers not known for delivering artistic quality. The mix-up in production labeling etc. stems not from TN, but likely the result of attempts from inside-VN producers and investors who wish to market their ‘con ga’, challenging the hai ngoai market.

well, personally i like khac trieu’s deep, mysterious and quite sexy voice. i wish he would sing a fair bit more. hes a musician, not a singer and i dont think he ever want to be one. hes an enigma. and its best to keep it that way.

btw thu hoai, i went on that link, ohmygod it was so beautiful. thanks for sharin. will rush out to buy her album.

KT is not a professional singer. He plays drums. Cam Van and KT have never been known as a singing couples (like TP and Huy MC). KT sometimes sings in the background for his wife and for fun.

To be honest, I think that Khac Trieu is not that great a singer. However, we should all have a choice as to how we are presented & acknowledged, professionally or otherwise. Maybe he doesn’t like the attention and is happy to be known as Cam Van’s husband who sings a little. It’s not the end of the world. Relax, Donny!

Of course, I was joking about the last line, but I was not trying to ridicule about the nail job. At one point I couldn’t find a design gig, I did think about doing it because it pays well.

As for Khac Trieu, he should be able to command that his name to be appeared on the label. He has a strong enough voice to make it on his own. It’s a shamed that he lets that happened to him.
