DVH is a vain posing bitch, noone will get an argument from me. However, that stage settings were brutal. I don't think anybody looked decent on it, saved one. Starting from themeless Mr. Screen (©Pink Floyd) to aimless disco neon lights with all rainbow colors blazing throughout, noone could have dressed "right" for that. Close-up shots of the singers were even worse.

The one exception was Mỹ Tâm. The way she dressed still popped out, together with her crazy-metal-head-spinning move (old stick, I know, but still a damn good stick especially because she was really good at it) made her act quite exciting. I wish she would do some real rock&roll, not the bullsh*t rock like her latest album. This girl got style, and a good voice.

How is this post remotely related to "envy of the rich" ? Wouldn’t Bill Gates or any of the Hollywood celebrities be a better target ? Just DVH’s artistic judgement based on how he boasted about his profuse spending on them garments and accessories in a manner indicative of his so-called immense wealth and superb stylistic tendency here. It’s sad how he ties monetary values to the embodiments of good taste. Money can buy posh, expensive, high-end clothes but it can’t offer refinement or effortless elegance. There IS a difference. Bottom line is, when one’s blessed with affluence, spend it with style and the discernment of power. Let your attire speaks for itself, idiot.

I bet those of you don't like DVH also don't like Michele Jackson. What is the matter with you? Envy of the rich or something? The reason why people in the entertainment industry spend that much money for clothing is that because it is part of their business. Hope you understand.

I must have admitted that DVH’s money is not well spent. He does not look good from provided links. However, it’s his money, he can do whatever he wants to do with it. The fact that he has tons of money to waste on his “ill-fashion” clothes and accessories proves that he must have done something right. It’s hard to argue with success. I like Elton John’s music, but I don’t like the way he dresses himself. I am sure none of people who have made the annual Mr. Blackwell’s list http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,18120,00.html thinks they should be on that list. The only crime that DVH makes, I think, is to brag about it. It’s just plain stupid. Different strokes for different folks. Let’s move on.

It's not jus DVH, I think most of the young rich Vietnamese are the same way-very superficial. When I was back in VN not too long ago, I saw people walking aroung with sunglasses that still had the plastic logo on the lenses (you know the kinds that's not edged in). I asked if that was a trend. They said that they left it on so people know what brand it was. It's all about "do hieu". "Do hieu moi sang, moi mod." Oh, give me a break. Why would anyone spend over $2000 for a purse? Not this chick.
