Career Center Redesigned
The Career Center of GW School of Business is now live. Once again, the design is based on a consistent brand of the School of Business, but also has its own look and feel.

Looks good, Donny.
(And you do such fun work! :o) )
I would like to know what standard of web page layout in terms of body width in these days? Do we still have to make it fits nicely on an 800×600 resolution screen? Most people are having wider monitor screens? Any suggestions?
It’s safe to go for 1024×768.
Does it fit with the 800×600 resolution screens?
Some users, especially “old” faculty, don’t like to move the “mouse” back and front…if they still have 800×600 screen.
Your site lookds good.
An, What can I say Donny is a pro :)
I am not anywhere as close to Donny in the design field but I would say it depend on your target audiences. A good website nowadays doesn’t have to look perfect in 800×600 but it have to be at least functional and not completely broken.
Yes, he is a pro. Therefore, I asked for his suggestions. Plus, he works in the field many years. Especially, working /designing institutions’ websites.
My target our audiences are students, faculty, and staff. Recently, I was asked to redesign our institution website. An tìm sư phụ để học hỏi thêm nè :-)
Have a great day.
Hoang is correct. It’s depend on who your audience is; however, sometimes you just have to leave some behind and move forward.
