Enjoying

I’m been jamming to Hong Nhung’s live performance of Trinh Cong Son’s “Bong Khong La Bong.” The funk vibe and Hong Nhung’s rejuvenating delivery moved me. Cue in at 7:50 mark and enjoy the show. Hong Nhung still looks hot for her age.

  3. “Bong” is a charming song. This is the first time I listen to this song. What about the song “Ghen”
    by poet Nguyen Binh? It is written for a man to sing though.
    I always like to sing manly song LOL :)

    Poet Nguyen Sa wrote the poem but does anyone know who is the author of this song? I am guessing it is another NgoThuyMien song since I am feeling it just like his other songs.

  7. I must be half asleep LOL it said “Hoang thanh Tam right on the screen. Who is “Hoang Thanh Tam”.
    Is he the author of the song “Loi tinh buon” too? I really like his work.

  8. Hoang Thanh Tam is well-known for love songs with philosophical, poetic lyrics. As a matter of fact, I think his lyrics are as good as that of Pham Duy or Trinh Cong Son, not to mention his distinctive smooth, sentimental melodies.

    You are right, “Loi Tinh Buon” is one of his. Some other best known songs are “Ru Doi Chi La Giac Mo” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zoSqjDMa5I), “Thang Sau Troi Mua” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFntXSCgEQE), “Khuc Nhac Sau Cho Em”, “Tra Lai Thoang May Bay” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ33shWctrI)… Quite remarkable works, wonder why there haven’t been any show with his theme, though his songs are often performed in major musical shows and CD records.
