I haven't listen to "Aura" yet, but I love his electric direction such as "Bitches Brew," "On the Corner" and "In a Silent Way." And I always return to "Sketches of Spain" for the masterful orchestration from Gil Evans. Give them some time and they'll sink in.

"Miles Davis couldn’t cut a bad record if he wanted to. "

What do you think of his later works, such as "Aura," etc.? Took a listen to "Aura" and I find it pretty disappointing, what with the mechanized, electronic beats. IMHO, his artistic decline was pretty obvious by the time he went electronic/electric.
