  1. Hi Donny,

Is there something that you could recommend for us to use when we play the slide-show on the big day?

    Thank you,

  2. Hi Tram,

It got to be John Coltrane & Johnny Hartman’s “My One and Only Love.” This tune sets my soul on fire every time.

  3. I’ve been digging Johnny Hartman’s “How Sweet It Is to Be in Love” as well. It’s sweet and romantic and I like the little uptempo as well.

  8. That’s a nice rendition from Chris Botti, but the classic is still unmatchable.

  9. “Dance me to the end of love,” M. Peyroux?

(BTW, are you guys going to Peyroux’s show at Lisner’s, on 6/20? If yes, we’ll see you there.)

  10. Wow, I was going to ask you about it. Who are we?

  11. How about “I’ll survive”?

  12. “We” = my friend Becky and me… :o)

(I think you met Becky, right? At QVNV?)

  13. I think I had met Becky. Dana is hesitating because we already ask Duke’s grandma to watch him today for the Dave Brubeck concert. Not sure if it’s alright to ask again next week. I really want to see Maddy though.

  14. As a GW employee, you’d get tickets for half of what I have to pay…

(Hmmm, lemme see what other carrots I can throw your way… :o) )

    My best to D&D, please!

  15. I just called the box office and the girl said adult ticket only, no discount for employee. I don’t think that’s right.b Did you buy the tickets? I can go to Lisner and find out.

    Comment by donny — 11 June 2009 @ 4:49 pm
  16. Yeah, already got the tickets.

My mistake, Doanh, re. employee discounts:

    http://www.lisner.org/eventdetails.asp?id=514

Reading it again, it does say “GW students and alumni” only. Know any GW student? :o)

Don’t know what “adult ticket” means…
