I’m not sure what all the fuss is over Ngoc Anh, sure she puts a new spin on the song, I was never a fan of Elvis Phuong killing this song but that doesn’t mean I’ll go as far as saying Ngoc Anh gave a revolutionary rendition of the song. Her voice is too raspy and strong, in the beginning when she sang “Giet nguoi di, giet nguoi di” she was trying to lower her voice to build up momentum but it ended up she turned the first “giet nguoi di” into a whisper. As a singer you’ve gotta have greater voice control than that. Not bashing on her performance but then again neither am I touting it as a record shattering revolutionary performance. As for Toc Tien… she tries too hard. As most on here have said it, she’s a kid, but I remember in the interview before she sang, she said something to try and out do Nguyen Ngoc Ngan, rookie mistake. And she tries too hard when she sings, not saying she doesn’t have a voice, she does, but she needs to practice more and make it look natural when she’s singing. Her flirtatious demeanor when singing the song could be interpreted as wanton and licentious. My 2 cents.

It’s my 1st time to hear NgocAnh singing, not much attention, but the pbn97 is so impress with her song & dance!
KhanhHa just copycats YLan and her face look fake and mean too!

I also love Ngoc Anh’s performance the most. I always love her voice when she was still back in VN. I am not sure why she is not as popular as others but who cares. I am getting sick of hearing “giet nguoi trong mong” sung by so many other singers but NA’s voice really got my attention.

“Toc Tien = cute and refreshing face”: it’s true if you like teenage musicals. Granted that TT is still very young and needs to mature more in both voice and style. She still looks like a kid, and the whole flirty things are just so out of place.

Voice need to age means voice not yet reach its peak. For a woman it is around 40 I believe. About Khanh Ha .. She may be boring to some but this woman has perfect breath control and is one of the best singer around. NA is dramatic, sexy and has very strong voice but she is very breathy. To each its on but technically, Ngoc Anh isn’t as good as Khanh Ha. .. sexier yes but better singer .. I think not.

TT voice need to age more? What does that even mean? This is funny, khanh ha got you to like music, which is the opposite for me. I fast forward every time when she sing. Y Lan is not as good as she used to be. So yeah, whatever you mean by TT voice need to age, I totally disagree or at least it’s not the case for y lan. Toc Tien = cute and refreshing face and Nguyet Anh = Big Tits = RULES!!!

Not quite understand your statement about Quang Tuan and Y Lan. I thought, besides Ngoc Anh’s Giet nguoi trong mong, their songs are the best of all. Who could sing with sa’o/luye^’n like Y Lan does? No one.

Toc Tien voice at first sounds “Wow”. But the more you listen to it, you will realize that her voice is still so young. Need to age more.
