I don't know much about communism except through stories, books and movies... but through my dad's eyes, through his tears, through his passions, through his sadness, through his bravery I do know this much about the war... and I concluded that whichever side he was fighting for and still fighting for IS and will be the good side. My dad didn't tell me if Communists are bad, my dad didn't tell me if communism was the wrong choice for VN but he did tell me his side of the story about the war that cost him his friends, his dad, his brothers and so much more people who died in protecting South Vietnam. While you people sit there and debating about "politics", keep in mind... everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Therefore whoever doesn't like Asia Production to talk about politics, don't buy it!!! They put in politics because they believe in it and there are thousands and thousands of vietnamese people who agreed w/ them. Some of them live through those moments to remind themselves why they are here, some of them listen to it to understand more about the wars, the cultures, the communists, and some of them are watching it to get proof for VN dictators back home (I called it home because although it's now under communists' control, it's still my home). Sadly, people only care about their opinions but tend to forget about others and I do believe Asia Entertainment wasn't making those DVDs for those who hated politics....but it's make for people who appreciate music, relive w/ music and try to find memories in the music... During the wars, during the "politic times", music was the key... it united couples, marriages, families... it sent out messages to the country of what those "heroic" men were doing.... Music started everything, and to welcome or wake up the country... it started w/ music, a bravery song, a song that stood up for the country. So whether you like it or not.... Music is politic, unless it's w/o lyric then... you can plug whatever you want in there how ever you want it.... I stopped watching Paris By Night for sometimes now due to... they are now recruiting those singers in VN, if they are good.... then fine, i'll suck it in and listen through it.... but oohh my good lord... they are fricking horrendous.... and if people try to pay attention... they are trying to steer clear of any controversial regards communism, why? from my understanding and...gossip (AAAAHH....GASP) PBN is under the new management of some rich people in VN.... but again I might be wrong... gossip people...however I stopped watching PBN... and it's my choice, my opinion... so please don't get all freakish on me... everything I wrote here.... it's entirely MY own OPINION... you don't like it? please do not read it... just don't jump off your chair and get all GUNG-HO on me.... thank god I live in USA, my own opinion counts...
