what happen when someone is dangling a piece of fresh meat in front of a cat? PBN and Asia are cats of different colors, but still cats. someone mention rumors of PBN might be under new management from people in VN, but fail to mention theres also "rumors" that SBTN, the bigger oversea Vietnamese satelite channel which some of Asia executives are co-founder/investors also have people in VN as investors or sit on the board of execs. and who got money...i mean good meat in VN? i also notice Little Saigon TV start to play music videos from singers in VN, perhaps paid by companies like Lang Xong Xanh to promote their singers? main point is that money talks, doesn't matter what political stance a business showcase it to the audience. if a person is stubborn and believe thats impossible, that the mouth protest but the hand take money and put in pockets, then that person is a cute, naive little sheep.

Anonymous, a fatal logic of an overseas commie or commie sympathizer is that I love to live in civilized and capitalist country like the USA but communism is good for the mass in VN! Communism unites the country, industrializes the nation fast and brings equality blah blah blah. These little commies do not realize that the past and the current realities are totally 180 degrees from their "dreams"

wow...revisiting this controversial politicical topic to look for my MInny man TimP but seems like a young lady has spoken her mind. Hey TimP, im thinking of visiting Minnisota this xmas, even though you have given me your aim...I still dont see you on. Mine is Langtula...if u see me on hollah...or just give me ur email or something. I would like a new friend to hang with on my trip.

ForgetMeNot, I think you have made my day by speaking out your opinions. Its nice to read a political comment without all the profanities and name callings but still carry out a precise message even thought it was very passionate an emotional. I like your take on music and on politics also. where u from forgetmenot?

I'm a girl who grew up in USA.... I don't know much about communism except through stories, books and movies... but through my dad's eyes, through his tears, through his passions, through his sadness, through his bravery I do know this much about the war... and I concluded that whichever side he was fighting for and still fighting for IS and will be the good side. My dad didn't tell me if Communists are bad, my dad didn't tell me if communism was the wrong choice for VN but he did tell me his side of the story about the war that cost him his friends, his dad, his brothers and so much more people who died in protecting South Vietnam. While you people sit there and debating about "politics", keep in mind... everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Therefore whoever doesn't like Asia Production to talk about politics, don't buy it!!! They put in politics because they believe in it and there are thousands and thousands of vietnamese people who agreed w/ them. Some of them live through those moments to remind themselves why they are here, some of them listen to it to understand more about the wars, the cultures, the communists, and some of them are watching it to get proof for VN dictators back home (I called it home because although it's now under communists' control, it's still my home). Sadly, people only care about their opinions but tend to forget about others and I do believe Asia Entertainment wasn't making those DVDs for those who hated politics....but it's make for people who appreciate music, relive w/ music and try to find memories in the music... During the wars, during the "politic times", music was the key... it united couples, marriages, families... it sent out messages to the country of what those "heroic" men were doing.... Music started everything, and to welcome or wake up the country... it started w/ music, a bravery song, a song that stood up for the country. So whether you like it or not.... Music is politic, unless it's w/o lyric then... you can plug whatever you want in there how ever you want it....

I stopped watching Paris By Night for sometimes now due to... they are now recruiting those singers in VN, if they are good.... then fine, i'll suck it in and listen through it.... but oohh my good lord... they are fricking horrendous.... and if people try to pay attention... they are trying to steer clear of any controversial regards communism, why? from my understanding and...gossip (AAAAHH....GASP) PBN is under the new management of some rich people in VN.... but again I might be wrong... gossip people...however I stopped watching PBN... and it's my choice, my opinion... so please don't get all freakish on me... everything I wrote here.... it's entirely MY own OPINION... you don't like it? please do not read it... just don't jump off your chair and get all GUNG-HO on me.... thank god I live in USA, my own opinion counts...

WATCHER,

You are just like any other typical communist followers. You just take things the ways they were presented. Almost ALL communists believe in commnunism and practice communism the same way!!!

You suggested that I fight against communism the hardest of myself. Does it include blindly attacking and prosecuting all communist followers? Is it like the way the communists did to people who don't follow them, including prosecuting their own parents like Truong Chinh and his people did? That's the hardest fight I've ever seen in human history!!!

I first met this communist guy when I went to his house to pick my sister up after a birthday party. Back then, my sister was in 6th grade and I just started highschool in Viet Nam. He invited me in for a drink to get to know more about my family. Right from the get go I told him my view about communism, and, to my surprise, he agreed with more than half of it! We met again more than half-a-dozen times before I left Viet Nam.

Now between a communist - who thinks Marx stinks and Ho sucks - and a guy who kisses the Marx and Ho's stinky butts like yourself, I am not sure who really sucks more!

Hmmmm.....,

WATCHER,
Please read again and use your brain. TimP said he delivered some gifts from his little sister to her childhood friends, not to their parents. Doing so does not mean he has to kowtow to these powerful "commie" nouveau rich as Ha Noi authority has done to their comrades in the North.
Ly Tong is one of million anti-commie Viets. He is not the only one. And don't immitate the tactic of Viet Congs : pointing to one guy and assume all VNCH or anti-commie Vietnamese are the same.
Very cheap shot of you!

TimP,
"The only ironic thing is that while a lot of poeple like yourselves are still eating communist shit and calling them heroes. The communist themselves have stopped believing in Communism for quite a long time now. My little sister has friends in Vietnam. Their parents are among the most powerful communists and the richest around. When they sit down and talk among themselves, they always laugh about how naive and stupid they were for believing in Communism. I got the chances to talk with them a couple of times when I went back to Vietnam and stopped by their residence to deliver gifts."

Next time you go back to VN and delivering a presents to the most powerful and richest Communists you come across....fight hardest of yourself for us will you....talk is cheap!!!!! LY TONG is waiting for you with an open arms.
